War is Hell

This is an extremely powerful picture, reminding me of older, more violent times.
The perspective of the 17mm on a DX format sensor pulls the power of the mouth of cannon (the main photo motif) to the front line of the image, giving an eerie sensation that can't be avoided.
I have to comment about the framing though. In my opinion the bottom right wheel should have been cut. It is a thing that is perceived almost immediately after your attention is drawn to the cannon's opening.
The "bouquet" achieved due to a high sunlight, I imagine is also interesting, but is extremely pronounced and also removes some attention to the main motif.
Maybe also the shadows could have been processed a bit so that we could see a bit more of the cannon's base details
The color post-processing is very well achieved, contributing to the eerie and powerful feeling of the whole composition.
